What products are good for a black teenager with frequent outbreaks of acne?
I am a black teenager and I have frequent outbreaks in the face. I think I have blackheads and pimples but it definitely has a lot of black heads. I tried proactive, clean and acne cleanser clear and I've been to the dermatologist, but the products do not work for long. Does anyone know about another product i can try to clean my face at all? And does anyone know about products that can eliminate dark scars left over from strokes?
This is what I can do to help is the following: 1) Wash your face twice a day and try to stay away from foods acids like pizza and fries. 2) I know the temptation to use some really strong cleaning products to help control the oil, but no … more hard soap, the more your skin is producing oil to replace what is stripped. Use a mild cleanser such as Dove pHisoderm or …. on a regular damp cloth morning and exfoliating facial pad at night. Wash and rinse your face with warm water, but the final touch your face with cold water to close pores again. 3) You are on the right track with oil-absorbing pads, I use those too and they are awesome! 4) I can use Proactiv refining moisturizer lotion. Only buy moisturizer, not the complete kit for only use the lotion refining … I tested the kit whoe before and does not work for me. Peroxide refining lotion benzoyl in it to help kill the germs that cause pimples and moisturizer sems to satisfy the pores of my face enough to not make that much oil. It's a bit expensive ($ 28 per bottle), but only uses a small amount after washing your face and will last for at least 3 months! 5) If you use makeup, try one of the bases powder really help absorb the oil. In the past, I've tried almost all the bases and all liquids do is look at a face oily steaky and clog the pores. I use Bare Minerals (about U.S. $ 28), but when I have enough money to buy Loreal Escentials me naked (around $ 12). You can Loreal things get at any local grocery store or pharmacy largest where they have a makeup section. Loreal works just as well, but I suggest getting another brush for it and putting it into another container, make the one it comes with is too dirty. Oh … and dropped it on your clothes, stick to them and it's almost impossible to brush just or cleaning. All this material worked for me … I hope I helped!
